Tuesday Swimming

Tuesday swimming caters for swimmers who are beyond the learn to swim basis and who wish to improve their swimming and have fun.

Sessions available:

- 6pm - 6.30 (Swimmer must be able to swim 1 length continuously) (2 lanes)

- 6.30 - 7.15 (Swimmers must be able to swim 5 lengths continuously) (4 Lanes)

- 7.15 - 8pm (Swimmers must be able to swim 10 lengths continuously) (4 lanes)

We have approximately 11-13 swimmers per lane, and each lane has a coach. Due to lane space limitations, places are limited.

Fees are $70 per swimmer per term, and places are allocated on a first-paid-first-in basis. Swimmers are invoiced electronically once per term, usually around the end of the previous term/beginning of the new term.

Fun Nights, consisting of races and a BBQ with sausages and chocolate fish are held on the last Tuesday of each term - starting at 5.45 and finishing approx. 7.30 - 8pm. There is no additional charge for the BBQ on these evenings, although if your child has special dietary requirements we will need to know in advance.

You are encouraged to come along as a parent spectator, but Karori Pool will still expect you to pay the $1 pool spectator charge.

Please note that if you come along as a parent spectator, you'll still need to pay the $1 pool spectator charge.

 

Prior to joining Tuesday night swimming, you will need to contact Lennox Brewer on  for your child to have an assessment. Following the assessment you will need to provide John with details of your child's full name, date of birth, address and contact phone number to secure a place.   

Please note that although we aim to improve techniques that have already been taught, we are not a learn-to-swim club.
